Join in The Moor Christmas Party

Sunday 17th November 2019

The annual Moor Christmas Party is a wonderful way to start the run up to the festive season. The free event (12.30pm until 4.30pm) is a family occasion for children, mums, dads, grandparents and friends to enjoy. Everyone is welcome even if they don’t celebrate Christmas – this is a time of year to celebrate being together.

There’s so much on offer from our popular snow machine, street entertainment including our Snow Lion, Scrooge Carriage, Giant Snowman, Choir, Dance Shows, Stilt Walking Reindeer and Brass Band as well as Face Painting, Children’s rides, Craft Making plus Nativity scene

Plus of course Santa will be there and the Christmas Tree Light Switch On at 4pm with the Lord Mayor and characters from the Manor Operatic Panto!

Amanda Phillips, Centre Manager for The Moor said: “This is such an atmospheric event for The Moor – it’s lovely to see the children’s faces as they delight in all the activities and see the Christmas decorations. This time of year is busy but special and our event combines the beginning of the Christmas festivities with an early opportunity for some Christmas!”
