
Families across Sheffield are invited to enjoy a day of excitement and hands-on discovery as the much-loved 999 Fun Day returns to The Moor on Sunday 10th May, from 11am to 4pm.
Taking place across The Moor in Sheffield city centre, the free event is held in partnership with the National Emergency Services Museum and brings together emergency services from across the region for an unforgettable family day out.
Visitors will have the opportunity to meet real-life heroes from the police, fire, ambulance, and rescue services, while exploring a wide range of emergency vehicles – from modern operational units to historic service vehicles from the museum’s collection.
Throughout the day, guests can take part in interactive demonstrations and activities designed to educate and entertain all ages. Children and adults alike will be able to get up close with emergency vehicles, learn vital safety advice from frontline professionals, and discover more about the important work carried out by the emergency services every day.
The event promises a packed programme of activities including:

The 999 Fun Day has become a firm favourite in Sheffield’s events calendar, attracting families from across the region each year. The Moor’s 999 Fun Day will take place on Sunday 10th May from 11am until 4pm, and entry is completely free.
