The Moor Sheffield have selected The Trussell Trust Sheffield S6 Foodbank as their designated charity of the year for 2023.
The Trussell Trust support a nationwide network of food banks to provide emergency food and support to people living in poverty including Sheffield S6 Foodbank. Their focus is to provide one million meals to people across Sheffield over the year. The Sheffield S6 Foodbank supports 1200 people a week from 11 sites across Sheffield, with numbers predicted to rise further this year.
The Moor will be hosting several events throughout the year to raise vital funds for the charity and to collect food donations for their food banks. See below for the various initiatives we have run to date.
