The perfect place to stock up on gifts, food and treats, shoppers can get into the Christmas spirit as they browse a huge selection of seasonal goodies at traditional wood cabins, alongside their favourite high street names on The Moor. Christmas Market Cabins will be open from Thursday 16th November until Sunday 24th December – Sunday to Thursday 10am to 6pm and Friday to Saturday 10am to 7pm.
The Alpine Bar is the perfect place to enjoy a mug of hot chocolate or a warm glass of mulled wine, and will be open from 10am till late, every day until Christmas Eve. The Big Wheel is also open every day from 10am till late. Enjoy a ride and see Christmas from above for £4 for under 11’s or £5 for over 11’s. Make it a day of fun-filled activities without leaving The Moor and pop into one of our leisure destinations, restaurants, or eateries whilst out Christmas shopping.
New to The Moor this year is Santa’s Grotto. Visit the main man himself from Thursday 16th November until Sunday 24th December – Sunday to Thursday 10am to 6pm and Friday to Saturday 10am to 8pm. Between Monday and Thursday, it’s £7.99 to meet Santa, and from Friday to Sunday and during school holidays, it’s £8.99.
Lee Appleton, Centre Manager of The Moor said: “We are very excited for Christmas on The Moor this year. The Christmas attractions introduced last year were a huge success so we hope that by adding to it, we can attract even more visitors old and new to the city centre over the festive season. Merry Christmas everyone, we look forward to welcoming you to The Moor!”
The Moor is also holding a 12 Days Of Christmas Facebook competition from Friday 1st December to Tuesday 12th December. Each day, followers can look behind the calendar door and be in with a chance of winning whatever’s there. All they have to do is like and tag two friends on the prize post to be entered.
