The Moor in Sheffield has welcomed InPost lockers to the centre in time for Christmas.
The new InPost lockers not only make sending parcels and online shopping easier, but they are also helping to raise vital funds for those facing homelessness this festive season.
Inpost and Shelter have introduced a new promotion for the festive period called Secret Senda. The scheme offers people the opportunity to donate goods for free via InPost lockers.
1 in 5 people throw away unwanted items rather than donating them to charity. This Christmas you can donate good quality clothes, footwear, accessories, and collectables that can be resold to raise money for the charity.
Simply pack up donations, download your QR code, take your box to the InPost lockers located in the APCOA car park at The Moor Sheffield and use your QR code to leave your package in the lockers.
Amanda Phillips, centre manager for The Moor, said “We are very proud to be able to support the Secret Senda scheme through the InPost lockers. Sadly, there will be thousands of people spending Christmas in a car, tent or doorway this Christmas and this fantastic scheme set up by Inpost and Shelter will help to support those facing homelessness and suffering the effects of the housing emergency this Christmas.”
“As well as supporting the Secret Senda scheme the new InPost lockers make online shopping and sending parcels simple. The people of Sheffield will be able to click & collect, return and send parcels through the lockers in the APCOA car park”.
The InPost lockers are located in the APCOA car park on Eyre Street, S1 4QW.
