Sheffield is set to experience a summer of football excitement as Yard Ball brings an interactive sporting event to the city centre with the launch of The MOOR Cup.
Taking place on Saturday 13th June and Saturday 18th July, from 11am to 4pm, the event will transform The Moor into a hub of football-themed challenges, inviting visitors of all ages to step up, take part, and win instant prizes.
The MOOR Cup is designed to be completely accessible, with no tickets and no booking required participants can simply turn up and play.
Visitors will have the chance to test their skills across two core challenges:
· Speed Shot – Measure the power of your strike and climb the leaderboard for a chance to win free entry to 4-to-yard football and a £25 JD Sports voucher.
· On Target – Put your accuracy to the test by hitting as many targets as possible in three shots, with instant prizes up for grabs.
The event aims to bring energy, competition, and community spirit to the heart of Sheffield during the summer months.
Lee Appleton Centre Manager said: “We wanted to create something fun, inclusive, and exciting that brings people together. Whether you’re a football fanatic or just looking for something different to do in the city, The MOOR Cup is all about getting involved and enjoying the moment.”
With football fever set to take over, The MOOR Cup promises to be a standout event on Sheffield’s summer calendar.
