Taste Moor is back!

Taste Moor will be hosting two tents at this year’s Sheffield Food Festival, celebrating the city’s diversity in food, craft, dance, music and culture.

On Sunday 25 May the Moor will stage a packed programme of world food demonstrations, to include how to make traditional Iranian kebab, ‘wonton’ and ‘chow mein’, plus tea sampling - along with free tastings and discounts from the likes of Wildwoods, Zizzis, GBK, Subway… complete with a dedicated Nandos grill cart between 11am – 1pm.

Many of the much-loved Moor market traders will also be involved in the day and giving out samples to include Anthony Andrews, Bingham, Dearne Farm Foods, Green Leaves, James Soda Bar, Mr Gao, S&J Pantry, the Bhaji Shop, Tissingtons, Turners and Wateralls.

Plus, a BBQ competition will take place with a chef on hand to make shoppers’ creations, which will be put to a public vote!

Back by popular demand, Taste Moor will also be hosting a range of craft activities on the day for all the family to enjoy, from making your own maypole to designing a headdress.

Music to suit all tastes at the Festival will add to the atmosphere of the day, with live sets from the University of Sheffield Concerts; Koni Music and Arts on the Run, among others.

The day is free and open to all.
