Sheffield Superstar!

Beighton Lifestyle Centre, regarding as a hub rather than a community centre, opened in March 2008 and offers a range of therapies and activities to suit all ages. All the profits generated by the business are reinvested back into the community to assist social and economic regeneration of Beighton and Sothall areas in the city.

Indeed, more than 1,000 people of all ages come through the centre’s doors every week for everything from a dementia-friendly tea dance to baby ballet, resulting in customers living a healthier and happier lifestyle.

Award winner Amanda commented: “We are a not-for-profit organisation so all the money we raise goes back to providing all of the free events.”

What a fabulous initiative and credit to our city.

Congratulations to Amanda and keep up the great work!

Amanda Finbow-Frogat, operations assistant at the Beighton Lifestyle Centre has picked up a Moor Pride in Sheffield award for her work at the Centre.
