TASTE MOOR part of the 2018 Sheffield Food Festival

Taste Moor celebrates Sheffield’s fabulous mix of cultures and communities through dance, crafts and food. Once again The Moor will be full of world food including a packed programme of demonstrations and the opportunity to stimulate those taste buds with free tastings. There will also be lots of craft activities to keep young ones occupied as well as great music to add to the atmosphere. It’s all free and suitable for all generations.
Visit The Moor tasting Gazebo with samples from Moor restaurants including dough balls, onion rings, chicken wings & bites from chicken Pizza Express, Nandos, Zizzi and GBK plus free vouchers. There is music for all tastes from University of Sheffield Concerts, Koni Music and Arts on the Run that includes classic to pop & funk. World food demonstrations on The Moor & in the Moor Market includes Wise Choice Nutrition who will feature traditional dishes with a healthy angle such as their Iranian kebab dish, plus Shuju Kitchen on how to make "Wonton", one of the most popular oriental style dumpling, & Lai Yin Association will show the difference between Chinese & Japanese tea ceremonies & taste the different tea leaves. Craft activities include making your own maypole to creating fabulous animal headdresses.
