Classics On The Moor

Sunday 6th August 2017

The 11th Classics on The Moor had 94 local classic and vintage vehicles on display!

Another free family day out with plenty of activities and children’s entertainment on offer plus great tunes from the 60’s & 70 from Retrojetz.

Thousands flocked to see lovingly preserved MG’s, Fords, American classics plus Sheffield Mini Club and Barnsley Minors, and the return of The Sheffield-Simplex - the British car that was made in Sheffield in the early 1900’s. Sheffield Lego Group also brought some amazing Lego models and Lego remote control cars.

Amanda Phillips, Centre Manager for The Moor, said:

“You can’t beat it – bright shiny vehicles of all descriptions that are super to see whether you are an enthusiast or not. The passion and enthusiasm the owners have is catching and seems to rub off on visitors.”
